Extending Legacy System Utility

Port of Tauranga required a way to handle increasing vessel volumes without a corresponding increase in administrative headcount, particularly as they were reliant on legacy billing systems. Quanton deployed a suite of robots, including “Visbot,” which reduced vessel invoicing processing times from two hours down to just seven minutes. These automated solutions have extended the useful life of the port’s proprietary software by several years, saving significant capital expenditure while easing the burden on the finance team.
